Default Couple questions

Tried looking through the AP guide on Cobb's site but couldn't find an answer. I have a couple questions. I bought my 03 WRX a couple weeks ago.
Mods: Cobb downpipe, eBay replica catback, K&N filter on a Stg 2 93 tune with the original big brick AP. If I get a new downpipe & or a new catback, do I need to do a "re-tune"? If so, how do I go about this? The other question is I'm most likely going to the newer AP. So how do I swap my old one with the new? Get the same Stg. 2 93 map on the new AP, plug it in & sync it with the car? Sorry for this newbness..

Hi there. You do not need a re-tune if going with a different downpipe or catback as long as you are running the stage 2 map (which requires an aftermarket downpipe).

We do offer a trade-in program for the old version 1 Accessport which will give you a $200 trade-in credit towards the purchase of a new version 2 Accessport (i.e. the current version with a color screen). Check out the details at the following link. You can leave the version 1 Accessport installed to your car when you do the trade-in and then when you get your version 2 Accessport, you can simply install it. The version 2 Accessport will overwrite your previous version 1 Accessport and then you will have or be able to use all the new features of the version 2 Accessport.

If you instead decide to sell the version 1 Accessport on your own, make sure you follow the uninstall procedure before selling it.

Okay thank you alot!! I figured that. And I knew about the $200 off thing. That's what made me want to get a new one.
