Default Issue with swaybar and end link install.....

This is my first time installing front and rear lower sway bars and end links on a car, but I believe I did the install correctly. I installed Whiteline 24mm front and rear sway bars and Kartboy end links on a 2012 WRX Limited. Everything bolted on without problems, however now when I drive it around corners or the weight shifts in the car something pops and sounds like its hitting the frame or the car or the floor of the car. Anyone know if I did something wrong or have any suggestions on what it could be? I have looked and made sure all the bolts were tight.

.Double check to see if the front and rear endlinks are perpendicular(straight up and down) if not,add shims. If they are straight, tighten them a little more.If you can post pics of install.

When you moved to kartboy links, you need to torque them much more than OEM. Add to that, you may need to retorque about a week later after initial install. Much like a lug nut.

Thanks guys. I will torque the hell out of them when I get home and then take it for a test drive. I will post a few pics if this doesn't solve the issue.

Default 24mm sways

I found on my 2011 STI w/24mm front bar, that no matter how much I tightened the Kartboys I simply couldn't get them to stop popping. I think using shims is a good approach but make sure you tighten endlinks in the loaded position, car setting fully loaded on springs.

Even this did not solve my issue. The main issue is that the Kartboy design is not as good when you have "off axis" loading. Ended up going to Whiteline KLC139 front endlinks which allow some "off axis" movement without causing the popping. They are sealed and worked well....no more popping.

^

I tightened my Karboy end links in the loaded position after I first installed them, and they've been absolutely silent since day one.

Did you install these while under load? Not doing so can sometimes cause the sound you're describing.

Yea, I did them pre-loaded and still had the popping. I didn't have any suitable spacers so I went the Whiteline route and it solved the problem. Thx.

My kartboys poppedr like hell on my 03. Switch to ball links and the problem was solved. Take everything you read on forums with a grain of salt. I bought kartboys after forum recommendations which turned out to be really terrible advice for me at least.
