Default So i broke even today...

So I was driving today and long story short: I made out with a tire from a school bus. He was turning and to cut to the chase it was my fault for being that close.

I clipped a cigarette after and it rolled under the passenger side seat from the center console. Fustrated, I started hunting it down and felt wires. I curiously started pulling it out and this appears: I bought the car in November last year and still finding goodies.

That'll buff out... seriously, I really think a lot of it will.

Haha this is awesome! I would've loved to see your face when you found the AccessPort. Bummer about the tire mark though...that might actually buff out...

Could you post these pictures a bit bigger? I was having trouble seeing them with my naked eye from the surface of Mars where I am currently blogging from.

In other news, score on the Accessport! Have you driven with Stage 1 yet? Whole new car.

I did light reading on the access port about a month ago since I was considering getting one. Seems the previous owner already has a map on it (Stage 2).

The bumper is also dislocated so I'll need to clip it back to the fender*, same for the brake vent plastics.

He's got connections!

YAY FOR AP! When I bought my 2006 sti from a dealer, the salesman gave me the AP saying, I'm not sure what this is, but the previous owner said it goes with the car.

You need to post some pictures (smaller) of your downpipe so we can see if it is stock or not. If not, you just scored around 1100 in parts and have an abnormally fast STi that you thought was stock until now.

Can't begin to tell you how thrilled I would be if you hit my car because you were tailgating.

It would be really cool if they had a flashing strobe on the top too!

Thats awesome ^^^

Congrats on the find.

I did the same thing when I bought my car. The AP was in the glove box The salesman thought it was some sort of old electronic device. Almost threw it away

Nice find on the accessport! I'm surprised you were never told about it! Did you happen to find the cable that plugs into the computer too?

Nice! I bought my car and didn't realize it came with factory locking lug nuts. I was actually really pleased with that (except I found them after I put on my winter wheels). Finding an AP would just be badass.

To reiterate: I had placed myself too close to an "empty" school bus during its turn, while I was at a complete stop. The bus driver felt he'd clear the turn and he scraped my bumper with the rear tire.

Long story short version: I didn't barrel into a school bus.
