Default WRX meets Mustang

I picked up my WRX last weekend and have been neglecting the mustang lately. The sun poked out this afternoon, so I figured it was a good opportunity for them to meet, sniff each others tailpipes and stuff.

I took this opportunity to do some tuning on the mustang and upped the boost a bit, it's peaking around 16 psi now. It's a totally different driving sensation than the wrx. It's just so raw, and the boost kicks in HARD instead if the smoothness the subie has. As to which one is quicker.... Mustang just needs a few more psi

That's about it. Pulled it from the bushes and did everything except the aluminum welding myself in my garage.

Just picked up the WRX as a daily. I've wanted one since I was a kid. Took me till my mid 30s, but life is too short for boring cars. It will mostly see cosmetic mods if anything.

Yep. Been in 12 years now, but just 4 active. Now I'm just a reservist.

I'm a few pages into your Mustang project thread - great stuff, and that's a very cool combo that you're running. (I'm still at the beginning, when you're talking about a V8 swap, so don't give any spoilers on how you end up with the turbo 4! ) Every time I read a thread like yours I remind myself that I really frickin' need to learn how to weld.

I learned how to weld by buying a cheapo welder from harbor freight and going at it. I'm no pro, but I haven't had a weld break yet!
