Default rough idle, misfire, blinking CEL, too lean after injector & spark plugs upgrade

Hey guys, so I have a 05 WRX that I'm swapping a vf43 in from an 07 STi. I installed the vf43 first and drove around. Everything was running fine. Then, I installed STi pinks 565cc injectors and 1 step colder spark plugs. When I started my car, it was idling very rough and misfiring. I just wanted to test drive it w/o boosting it around the block, and the car was running VERY lean on any gear over 2nd. And in 2nd gear, I was running VERY rich in 1st & 2nd gear according to my AEM wideband.

I didn't get a tune yet. So I was wondering if this is normal before getting a proper tune? And also, I didn't get a chance to install the walbro 255 yet. Can that be the reason as well?

This is due to injectors not having correct values for flow rate and latencies. Yes you need a tune, wouldn't really call it a tune, if you have tactrix/romraider it's matter of adjusting few values, you can do it yourself and learn something.

My guess is that you reversed the coilpacks on one or both sides. White clips go in the front, black in the back. Blinking CEL means misfire. Bigger injectors without a tune will run richer, not leaner because of the decreased scaling.

Ughhhh I always do this. Get through the hard part w/o problems but try to do the easy part too quickly and eff it up. Coil pack is on the wrong place in one side

Oh yeah definitely. But I knew something was wrong. Car was just acting waaay too strange, even for injector change. Didn't want to flash a map w/o knowing everything was right.
