Specifically there was about 2mm of gap between the hub face and the wheel mounting surface.

I did not try torquing it down to see what happened

Do you know the origin of that picture?

Interdasting....

He doesn't confirm spacers, but my first thought was that it looked spaced...the stock wheels and tires are pretty narrow, I ran 245's on 8" on my Leggy at it filled the wells nicely, I think think stock BRZs would just get lost

Hehe, it's funny 'cause the BRZ/FR-S wheels look good on just about everything except the BRZ/FR-S.

AND just about any other 17" subbie wheel loooks great on the BRZ!

I never got a chance to make the swap, before my LGT got sold

At least there's hope here, it seems like I will be able to sell my horrib BRZ wheels to someone else

Got a line a on some OEM '04 STi BBS in Silver, which I think should like noice!

Very weird. Had mine installed on the outback xt 2006 no problem. checked them first and they looked fine bolted up, took em to my tire/align place that is well respected by iclub and made sure to mention it to the tech that there could be a problem with the hub not being flush with the rim.

They fit great!

The rims truly look awesome on the xt, ill throw up a photo.

I'm just not understanding why they look like trash on the car they came equipped on.

I blame the clashing contours/body lines and wheel design, but even then I'm not totally convinced that that's the issue.

I think they look ok on the swp but not good on any other color i've seen in person. Might have something to do with the lines as the white diminished them.

just my thoughts.

They aren't sports car wheels... they look great on sedans and CUVs.

Sports car wheels should look light and purposeful... not overspoked and half painted.

Thought I'd throw my contribution in here, too. Already seen by the seniors, but new to the newbs.

Lol I disagree.... I think they're alright but look better on most other cars than the BRZ.

I would love them without the machined face. If it were just the 5 black thin spokes (reinforced), they'd be superdopesickalicious.
