Default Debadging 05 trunk

Hey I'm about to debadge my 05 sti trunk today, however I'm worried I'm too late to make it look clean, will the paint be off colored once I pull them off?

Thanks

Youll probably have an outline/faded area. I think it should buff out tho as long as you have an orbital sander with the right pads/compound

you'll have fade lines..but just goo gone the **** outa it and wax often..within a month they will fade

edit..you have silver, there shouldn't be any noticeable fading (only happens with darker colored cars)

I just partially debadged an Ice Silver Impreza Sport far too much stuff back there removed the "SYMMETRICAL" and "SPORT" badges plus the "PZEV" on the rear window much cleaner look now no problems with shadow or fade lines but this is a newer car.

I have an '04 and debadged mine last year. Hardly noticeable fade lines that went away with washing/waxing.
