Does the Kicker subwoofer that is made for sedans fit the Hatchback?

I have an 09 STI and want to get the subwoofer but don't want to block that space when I fold the seats down so I'm wondering if the sedan Kicker subwoofer would fit snug in a hatchback.

I read that it would block the light but maybe that is relocatable?

If anyone has any insight, please let me know. Otherwise, I have to pay double for a custom box.

I'm not sure if this will help... I installed the factory kicker on my '12 sedan, and it is completely tucked out of the way of the seats and everything.
