Default springs, help!

So to start out im a new user, and any corecctions will be taken lightly.i.have a 97 impreza and the guy I bought it from cut the springs! I have a set from an 03 impreza that im going to try and put on sat. Does anyone know if I.can swap springs for.this year no problems?

Negative, Ghost Rider. The Pattern is full.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. But based on some reading, it looks like '03 will fit '97. Read the below threads carefully, and make up your own mind. But it looks like '93 - '03 springs will fit.
