Crutchfield.com for the size.
I believe tweeters are up front only. |

Tweeters are almost always only in the front.

If I'm not mistaken they 5.25" speakers in the front and rear, and separate tweeters in the front only. That's from memory though, and it's been a couple years since I sold my '04 wagon. I do know you can make spacers to fit 6.5" speakers in the front and rear. That's what I did!

OH my misinformation...
First, ignore Crutchfield for about half of their "does not fit" recommendations. Crutchfield says that soemthing does not fit unless they sell or offer the adapter for that configuration. Half of the speakers that I see as not fitting actually fit just fine if you are willing to buy the right adapter. To your original question: Fronts are a 6.5" speaker. You will still need an adapter. Rears are a 4" speaker but with an adapter you can fit a 5.25" speaker, so long as the speaker cutout diameter is 4.6" or less. Anything more than that and you may need to trim metal in the inner door skin. Info: http://www.subaruaudio.net/subaru-sp...d-sg-forester/ Last edited by phenryiv1; 02-12-2013 at 01:31 PM. |

Car audio is my specialty. - 5.25-6.5 in the front with an adaptor - 4" in the rear - I would recommend installing 6x9s in the rear deck if you are really wanting sound. Stick with Boston Acoustics if you want clear crisp quality as well PM me if you want good pricing.. I have a few hook ups with car audio ![]() |

Considering your statement I don't want to start a urinary Olympics here, but this is just plain wrong...
