What does the cruise from the Chicago area look like this year? I recall last year starting in Itsaca but many people didn't like how the cruise went putting the blame on the major stop we had on i90 west.

I90 is STILL under construction, so whatever you can take on I90 then get off at Belvidere and work around to 20 from Harrison (it'll be the road your on when you turn off the highway and go west). It'll actually be faster since the construction is going on...I drove it everyday for 5 years, trust me, I know, then work it down from there.

I assume so, just going off of what the Ticket states. It's simply making it anything at a 2.1 or more as there are stroker and de-stroked engines as well that simply shouldn't be allowed to run in there standard class. Just because the stamp says it's a 2.0....it still isn't and this is a gentlemans game.

Yup, that's there too. If anyone is local, stop by any of the supporting MWSOC Subie Shootout Vendors and I'm sure we have enough of the flyers to go around.

Gives you guys a reason to stop in and check your favorite shops and vendors that support the MWSOC Shootout. We're on that list as well as 6* and a good amount of others!

Lightbulb

For anybody who's coming up from the south via I39 or coming from I80 in either direction, I'm taking a different route to Byron. Basically Rt52 to Dixon and then taking Rt2 up to Byron. Rt2 is a nice smooth road that is right next to the Rock river. Cool cruise that's only a few miles longer. If anybody wants to follow me, I'll meet up at Love's truck stop in Utica.

Here's a link to the route.
