Default Performance Autobody, Hudson NH - Highly Recommended!

I just got my car back last night. These pictures do not come close to showing the quality of work these guys performed:

BEFORE:

AFTER

Not only is the work excellent, they had the entire car detailed before returning it to me. No dusty interior, no overspray/dust in the engine compartment, and now I don’t have to wax/clean the car before winter!

It's nice to finally have a body shop that takes as much pride in their work as I do with my car. They also dealt with my insurance company directly which made the entire experience just great. I highly recommend anyone who needs work done to go talk to them.

Here is their contact information:

They do free estimates, so just give them a call if you need something done.

If anyone wants to see my car in person (before going) just let me know. I'd be happy to show you the car.

Sounds like the body shop I worked for, for awhile. Pioneer Automotive. They basically do the same thing. If the paint doesn't match perfect, he sands it back down and repaints it again kind of thing. Then wetsand and detail. Glad to see though there are more than just one body shop that takes pride in their work though!

Cost of the repairs?

Initial insurance estimate was $2800. With supplemental work I think the total came to $4500. The low miles (51K) and condition of the car raised the overall car value. He could actually write work up to like $6500 and still repair the car w/o the car being considered totalled. If air bags had deployed or the AC condenser and/or radiator were wrecked I think the car would have been borderline.

They repaired the radiator support. None of the front end mechanical equipment required replacement.

An after thought,
These guys even spent the time to repair my license plate. I purchased a new cover/frame after making this post, and figured I'd have to spend time trying to reshape the damaged plate. I never realized they repaired it until I went to install the cover/frame.

It came out really well too, it looks like it was never bent before.

Yeah, thanks again for meeting up with me silvaru. The work on your Forester was top notch. I looked at a few other cars repaired by other shops (that were also recommened) and the work was also good, but I felt like the work on your vehicle was better, especially considering it was also silver, and the paint matched so well.

Thanks again.

The car looks so good all clean I'm not sure I want to take it outside today in the snow!

Figure I'd update this thread with my latest repairs. Note the shop has a new address.

My '09 Subaru was side swiped over the Christmas holiday. Took the car to Performance and Paul did an excellent job again. Not a lot of before pics, but the car needed a new front fender, new rear passenger door, and repairs to the front door. You can see the crushed rear door in the first picture. The final estimate with some repairs to my tailgate that I added was about $3500.

Performance Auto was not a "preferred shop" with my insurance company. I had no issues using them at all, Paul at Performance handled everything, included getting new Subaru parts instead of "used" via the original insurance estimate, and arranging the rental car.

They don't cut corners, and they stand by their work. I'm super picky. I think the two tone line is off on the front fender (Subaru doesn't provide a template, and it's not a sticker). Paul and I measured the lines, and he agreed to take care of it without hesitation. I am planing to get that fixed come spring time and probably have some of the hood scratches/chips taken care of.

So, if you had a bad weekend with the blizzard go see them. If anyone wants to see my car just let me know. Happy to go over it with you.
