Wow! taking it up to redline just after coldstart... I got to say I would hate to have that be my car. Unfortunately there will be know way for the owner to know until problems come up.

Bummer

Had ringland failure on stock 08 sti. So it was either this guys fault or the wash boy at the dealership told me my sti was the fastest one one the lot. It had nine tenths of a mile on the odometer at the time.

Check engine light is because it hasn't been through PDI, but still that's embarassing. What a fool.

I've seen many a port worker drift newer BMW's etc around the lot. You never know what has been done to your car before it arrived.

When I worked at a dealer oh-so-many moons ago, every now and then we would pick up a car at port.

If you think this video is bad, you never, ever want to go to port to pick up a car. All the talk about soft break-in etc is out the window. Most of these cars are run harder from the factory, to the ship, to their parking spot, to the trailer than you could ever imagine.

With the availability of all sorts of media and social networking etc, everyone gets to see the "carnage". Not that it's right or wrong but it's something that's been commonplace for a very long time.
