Saw you're looking into Feal 441's. I have them on my car and I love them. I definitely recommend them. If you ever want to go for a ride to check them out, let me know.
Yup! I removed the dealer badge already as soon as I got it home. I plan on removing everything else once I get the car sitting right on some acceptable wheels and coils.

That's awesome! I would love to go for a ride. I've actually been looking around to find someone locally that has a set of the feal's for me to see what they are like. I just want a comfortable setup that isn't harsh. Not looking to go too much firmer than stock. Going to keep the height conservative and comfy, but I just need a better stance! I am in Monmouth County. Where are you located? Ever up in my area? Let me know if you are. I'd love to go for a ride.

Thanks for the links! I don't really go up around there. The closest I am to there is when I go to McGuire AFB once a month for a weekend (guard guy). I live literally 2 minutes from Gary if you've ever been to his place. Not sure if you come down here at all. Shoot me a PM, maybe we can work something out.

No problem. Nah not usually down there. I'm sure we can work something out sometime though. If you are ever close, let me know!

+1 for Feals, OP knows my opinion on them

I actually recently fiddled with the dampers and softened them up a bit... man, they can get super comfortable. It rides so well over the now crappy winterized roads.

Always great to hear! Definitely want things to stay comfortable as I would hate to get a set just to find out it's bump city. I was going to try and find a used set, but I think I am going to just order them new from Odi once the warmer months come around. I wouldn't put them in until then anyway, so I got some time. Thanks again for all the help and feedback!

thanks man. It should turn out to be a really nice, all around daily driver when I'm "finished". I don't think I am going to take it to the level I brought the M3 to, but I will certainly be adding my own touches to this car to make it the way I think the WRX should have came from the factory. Clean, practical, and aggressive is my motto.

Check back soon! I have a Nameless Muffler Delete Axleback and Feal 441 Coilovers on the way.

Upgrade your Dome and map light to LED too?

And do you have the limited WRX? Your low beams look like HID. Or did you retrofit it?

Nah, I usually don't even bother changing interior lights. More of a PITA than it's worth. Looks cool, but the stock ones get the job done just fine.

No sir, it is a base model with fog lights. I noticed the same thing in the picture you are referring to. They are just the stock H11 halogen lights that come on the car. No retrofit yet, but will be retrofitting some nice projectors in soon.

Hmm weird. Mines Looks very yellow compare to yours lol. I changed them out for a pair of H9 halogen bulbs because the factory ones were very dim. H9 definitely helps with vison at night lol.

H9 just has a different base, the bulb is the same as the H11. It's just the picture that is making them look a bit white like HID's. However, they are the normal yellow halogen color in person.

If you want a proper lighting setup with improved performance, a proper retrofit is the only way to get results. Putting HID's into the stock lights won't do much. I know a ton about lighting, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Had a relaxing Sunday today, so I decided to go out and finally take some better shots. Nothing too spectaulcar and the car was dirty, but glad I got some decent shots of the car. The sunken wheel fitment and huge wheel gap is something I want to get working on right away. As well as a better sound. I should have some nice goodies coming in soon, so I will post up when things finally are ordered/come in. For now, here are some shots. Notice the debadged rear! Looks much cleaner IMHO. Still debating on removing the WRX and leaving things clean...

Car looks great Chris. The headlights will really finish it off.
And the car doesn't really look dirty at all!

Thanks, Jeff! Yeah, doing the headlights will definitely finish everything off. Waiting on Caesar to get those projectors in!

Haha, gotta love white! It's dirty, but still looks clean!

Nice pics! And I agree that your new headlights will really make the front end look great. What projectors did you go with? Or is it a surprise haha

I think you should debadge fully, for some reason I feel SWP looks great debadged. I don't know why, but when I tried editing a pic of my car debadged it just didn't look that great.

What made you go with the muffler delete? I'm really curious what you think about the sound quality and volume because I have contemplated selling my Nameless axleback for one of their louder options. I'm anxious for your review on it and for the Feals too

Thanks! Yeah, I really hate that Subaru changed them to chrome. It looks way better black. Oh well, just more work for me haha. I am going to keep things simple and clean/OEM like. It would require a lot of work to retro the s2k's in and I like the idea of being able to go back to OEM if I ever needed to. In saying that, I will be going with the OEM STI projectors and a clear ZKW lens. It offers a direct plug/play setup without any modification to the headlights. Just screw them in and you're good to go. Anything is better than the stock H11's haha. I am going to try to mess around with the color a bit with some washers and the shield to get more color and a sharper cutoff. We'll see how it all pans out. I will be doing a big review on it with plenty of pictures of my findings.

Yeah I hear you on the full debadge. I am a little indifferent. I like just the WRX and I like it fully debadged. I figured I would rock just the WRX for now and see how I like it. Then remove it if I want to change it up. For now, I think it looks wayyyy better than having the whole novel on the back of the trunk, so it's a nice change. I'll probably remove everything once I get the car set up nicely.

I decided to go with the muffler delete simply because it just sounds too good. It's loud, but I am used to loud cars. I just hope it's not drone city, which I am afraid it will be under load and between 2-3k. The sedans have no problem since they have a bit more sound deadening, but we'll see. I have been thinking of changing it up to the 4" muffler option though. Ahh!

I am excited about the feals. Hoping it keeps the OEM drivability/comfortness, but offers a bit tighter feel and be able to make it ride the way I want.

Waiting on my buddy to come across a set of STI projectors. They are hard to come by, so it could be tomorrow or it could be a month from now. All depends when he gets his hands on a set. My main focus at the moment is getting the car sounding and looking right. Headlights will come after exhaust/wheel/coils.

What's being done: 3M DiNoc Vinyl Trim Wrap

Mileage: 4,653

I had a bunch of vinyl left from past projects laying around, so I wanted to put it to use on the WRX. Some think it's tacky and too much, but I personally love the look of CF, even though it's not real CF. It adds some a nice touch to interior trim pieces. When done right/well, it looks fantastic and very OEM like.

Being that I had some free time tonight, I decided to wrap the radio bezel and shifter console area. The 3M DiNoc is a great product to work with as it is very flexible and can flex around all types of angles and edges. Whole project took around 1 hour and I am very pleased with the results. Adds a great look to the interior and compliments the black trim well. I won't be adding anymore CF to the interior as too much can look tacky. I think some JPM Coachworks is in order to accent the CF.

Here are some quick/blury pics I took quickly throughout the project. I apologize for the blury shots. Had the shutter slow since I didn't have a ton of light. I was too lazy and tired to break out the tripod. Enjoy!

What's next: Still debating what exhaust I would like to go with. I am pretty sure I want to go with Nameless, but I keep going back and forth between the Muffler Delete, 4" muffler, or the 5" axleback with the midpipes.

Your build makes me so disappointed in my own, lol. I can't keep up! Nice job though, your build is the only nasioc pop up I don't mind on my phone and read right away.

How much wrap did you get need to finish everything. Cfwrap.com has a 4x1 foot sheet on sale for $34.99. I would think that should be enough. Have you had any experience removing this stuff before? Any damage to the trim?

well a lot of the stuff I am doing at the moment are things I either have left over from my M3 or small items that I had planned to get done right away. I am a firm believer that the smaller details is what makes the entire car. I appreciate the kind comments though! Hopefully I will be able to keep up the pace so you have something to read haha.

Well, I had a huge sheet that I got to cover my roof of the M (never ended up doing it, used it for the trim inside the car instead). So I had a pretty large sheet of it. I would say a 6'x6' roll of it? I didn't need too much to do the trim in the WRX, but it all depends on how much you actually want to do. The center console/shift area trim required a bit more, maybe a 2.5'x1.5' section. Granted you could probably get away with using less, I like to have a good over hang so I can get nice clean edges all around. The worst issue you could run into is getting everything perfect, but being short on an area. Always better to subtract than to add! That price is pretty decent, but I would suggest going with the 3M DiNoc product. It has a great adhesive backing and really really easy to work with. You'll be surprised how flexible it becomes when it's heated.

I had to remove this product on the M3 once to re-do a section and it actually peeled up some of the stock trim color. The trim in that car was very very similar to the color of the WRX console/shift area. I would imagine it would do the same if you were to peel it off. However, it is a different car and probably different finish, so I couldn't tell you how it would react on the WRX. Although, I did just pull it off without heating it, so that could be the reason why the color lifted off that one time. If I heated it, I am sure it would have came off clean. If you take your time and do it right, I assure you that you wont want to remove it. It looks great!

Mod Update:

Stumbled across a local Invidia Q300 Turboback (ti tips) Exhaust with catless DP and a Cobb Access Port for a great price. Guess I am going to stage 2 sooner than I thought! I will be selling/trading the catless DP and to get a catted DP though. I will most likely install the q300 CBE first and load the stage 1 to familiarize myself with the added power. This way I can take my time to sell/trade the invidia catless dp and look for a catted one. Once I pick a catted DP up, I'll install tp catted DP and load the stage 2. This way I'll be able to see/feel the differences between each stage instead of going straight to a stage 2. I will update once everything arrives!
