Default license plate deletes info.

So I have access to an CNC machine. Im looking yo make a custom plate delete. So anyone with an license plate delete for any 08+ wrx/sti. Can I get some specs ( LxWxD and screw placement) right now im in the process of making a template. If this goes well and relatively cheap to make I mite be taking orders. I plan to use aluminum or SS. Thanks for the help.

The hole spacing placement is standardized. Doing a bit of research from what's on the market should give you an idea what fits the different model years. If you laser etched or made something with NASIOC.com (if allowed?) would members here buy it?

Im tryung keep it under 100 bucks or so. But I think im still a month before I get to that point where they are for sale.

Do you have any CAD software you are using? I have exactly what you are talking about modeled up in SolidWorks with screw holes, a boarder, and changeable text. I don't have any pics on my phone but I can throw some on here when I get back home.

What's in it for me though, I don't design for free

FYI if you even THINK about selling anything here, you will need to be a vendor and pay dues. Also, why not design your own instead of trying to rip off another design? (Because that's exactly what it sounds like)

Fyi im not "trying to rip off anyone's design" im just try to get a good starting point. I don't have the resources for the R&D like the big guys.
But ill for sure get set up as a vendor when it come time for that. Thanks for the info.

I would make a template out of cardboard or heavy construction paper and go from there.

I'd be down for one in aluminum but with no holes. The automotive emblem tape keeps my current one on tight.
