Default 2006 WRX squeaky/cricket sound coming from turbo area

need some help with my 2006 WRX, FRIST THING FRIST I just wanted to say I'm new at this whole forums thing and joined not to long again, up to now I've been able to figure every thing out but this is just really weird. I don't know if it the cold weather up in jersey or maybe something is about to go it didn't happen to me before but as of now I'm lost . Any help would be great guys. Just about 3 weeks ago it started making some weird Squeaking/cricket sound coming from the turbo. Now I don't know if its coming from the turbo it's self just in that Specific area. This only happens when the RPMs are at about 1.75-2000 RPMs. This has never happen before so I'm just worried something is lose of about to Break down. I thought it was the belts at FRIST but it def doesn't sound like it coming from there. 😔😪

Might wana rip out the screen in the banjo bolt on top of the turbo. It get gumed up over time. That does not sound good at all. Almost like ur turbo is starving for oil.

Hey Sroma,
