DIY'ing the pan and pickup since you're there, will be fine as long as you know what you're doing (I sure don't)

I seem to recall other companies making the oil pick up (moreso maybe?) maybe there are other pan or pan insert options.

If you dig the EL headers, I'm sure you noticed that their pan works w/ them (at least that's what I remember)

I did notice that, but im not about to dump 2g on pan/pick-up and EL header. I know the 321 stainless is awesome and crazy expensive ive priced it out before. But i can make my own pan cheap (i build work trucks for railroad companies) The EL header i would probably just try to find a deal on it because it would take alot of time to build and design and that time + excess 321 stainless steel wouldnt be worthwhile.

OP, I figured you'd want to give these threads a little read. ( Even though you've probably looked them over before ). They should be able to help you a little bit, if any help is needed ^_^.

Sweet Man, looks like a killer deal on the car. Car looks ultra stock to boot, can't beat that. Wish I could find deals like that (guess I need to look) but you know what I mean.
GLW build, should be fun. Won't need too much in power gains to drift that with just rwd. Have fun and keep us posted.

I have read all of those except the 3rd one. I think my first or second post on this forum was in the first link. And the part of that post where I couldnt remember the link to the guy who used s13/14 axles and hubs with his r200 swap is actually the second link.

Here's the Inner cups of my '06 axles sitting next the center diff I welded. Gonna pull the outers off at work since we have a parts washer there.

Need to get the flywheel I picked up cut. Get a stock clutch disk. Clutch slave, Clutch line. I think I am going to split the case on my original trans an just take a look and see if its worth pulling the front diff out of my new trans. If I do that though then I gotta find a different way to plug the axle holes as there wont be the diff for them to clip into.

I plan on starting out with the engine stock maybe uppipe and downpipe. That will teach me to drive hard and aggressive. Once I have a good technique then Ill work on more power. This year its all suspension and reliability.

I sold e30 and ordered my exedy stage one clutch. It came in today. Going to pick it up and start putting the car together. Should be running by Thursday. Can't wait!!!

Also if a Mod could move this thread to where build and update threads go that would be awesome. I don't feel this belongs in the noon section anymore

Edit: friend told me 4th gear synchro is alright. :/

Anyways looking for 4.11 or 4.44 diff to weld. A set of coilovers, and a full set of delrin bushings for the entire car.

I'm into drifting. Didn't want to deal with my e30 and the opportunity to buy this for cheap with a bad trans made it the best deal. Im also that type of person who stays outside the box. I like making my own parts and doing my own fab work.
