Default Downpipe Removal w/ EWG

I'm trying to swap my stock downpipe on for smog purposes. Right now I have a catless DP & Dom 2.5 w/ EWG (amongst others). Now I was able to get the TMIC off + all turbo/dp bolts off UNTIL I got to the one on the very bottom.

Once I looked underneath there is literally zero room to torque a wrench, much less a ratchet down there. Even with PB blaster there is no way in hell I could get any sort of leverage on it.

Does anyone have a recommendation on how to approach that last freaking bolt? Is there a way I can get to it without removing the EWG? It's driving me nuts!

Cool, thanks for the reply man! Not quite the best news, but I guess that confirms it for me.

Do you know of any kind of writeup for removing the ewg? Want to make sure I'm not creating more work for myself....

Isit a 2 bolt or vband? Tou just need to remove the wastegate itself not the whole up pipe.

I'm pretty sure it was a 2 bolt. So just release those two bolts, take of the wastegate and I should have enough room to operate for the rest of the DP install?

I have taken off my downpipe dozens, and dozens of times with the EWG still installed. Just use a closed end wrench from up in the engine bay (reach down around the turbo). There shouldn't be any issue getting the DP out with the EWG still in place.
