Default 01/02 JDM Leveling Motor Repair/Replacement

So finally after getting all my parts together and my lights in one of my leveling motors seems to be dead the one of the right side of the car.

After taking it apart I'm kinda of beyond myself. I sought out a diagram for the electrical system in it, but it's alluding me.

I'm not sure of the specific part number because in all the part diagrams I found there wasn't a mention for the level motor.

One the part itself it shows Ichikon AL-160

It might be compatible with the 04-05 STI level motor, but I'm not 100% sure anyway suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

2004-2005 USDM HID headlamps have the leveling system PN: 84963FE010

Is what it looks like

The pic you posted is your bugeye motor, right? It looks like mine so it must be.

There was a thread recently be Blue_Diamond, he was asking for replacement parts for his leveling motor on his (he has the 04-05 headlights). Well he technically has a 2003 but where he is the 2003 are our 03-04 model.

So here is the pic he snapped of his, I think it looks different from the bugeye ones I used to work with:

It will be easier for you to confirm if they are different as you can have yours in hand and compare it from the same angle as this pic. But from what I remember mine were different.

Have you tried looking for any broken wire, defective connector socket/pins, or open it and look for corrosion or broken wires? As to rule out the easier fix first.

Well I replaced all the pins and I did manage to take it apart I was at my gf's house so I don't have my volt meter on me. Everything seems to be intact and it was making a noise. I made me feel like the little motor the turns inside it wasn't working correctly. However once I took it apart and got it hooked up but then it didn't even make a noise.

There isn't any broken wires there are a few semi corroded connections but nothing to bad. However it does seem like the 04/05 connections work so it seems like that might be the easiest option.
