Default Will the COBB Accessport do?

Will the COBB Accessport remove the Hill-Assist, and/or the Top Speed limiter?

The Accessport does not do anything with the hill-assist function, but it would allow you to modify both the fuel cut and throttle-based speed limiters via the Accesstuner Race tuning software (available for and free only for version 2 Accessport owners). Most of the off-the-shelf (OTS) maps available for the Accessport also raise the speed limiters (although not necessary disable them entirely - depending on the map). But, you can certainly disable them entirely via Accesstuner as mentioned.

Thanks Bill, I want to buy the unit, I am just afraid of warranty issues. I feel if it corrects some issues/annoyances with the car, then it might make me jump on board. The Hill-Assist is probably my biggest issue that I want to correct, by removing it.

Understood. Unfortunately, the Accessport does not do anything with the hill-assist function (and we are not investigating that at this time). I seem to recall that someone has come up with a DIY solution for disabling it - might be worth a search, but I can't remember specifically if that is the case.

What you will see with the Accessport is much improved and smoother driveability and performance over the stock tune. In addition, our version 2 Accessport (i.e. the current version) gives you standalone data logging from the device (to make sure everything looks good), launch control and flat-foot shift features, free Accesstuner Race tuning software, performance measuring functions, and more. You can also uninstall the Accessport at any time, restoring your engine control unit (ECU) to the exact mapping/image that was present before you installed the Accessport.

We offer a 30-day money-back satisfaction guarantee if the Accessport is purchased through us directly so you can give it a try and see if it is to your liking. You can check out our full product assortment at cobbtuning.com, as well as the maps available for your car (in the Maps section).
