Default Catbacks that mate with a donut gasket DP

First off, I apologize if this question has been entertained before (and I'm pretty sure it has) but I've searched and searched and could not find a definite answer.

I currently have a Cobb downpipe mated with my stock catback. I'm looking for catbacks that will mate with the donut gasket style of downpipes or information on how others are mating flanged catbacks with the donut gasket DPs.

I saw the grimspeed downpipe to catback adapter but that looks like it is intended to go the other way (donut gasket style catback to a flat flange downpipe). Am I wrong?

Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Borla Hush and SPT

You can bolt a 3" catback to the donut style downpipe with a 3" gasket. I was running a Perrin that way and it worked ok.

Well I suppose I should have mentioned the obvious that I was well aware that the Cobb catback works. And thanks for your worthless input Tommyson01. I've sort of been "doing homework" for quite some time and was looking for some useful input...not for you to "spoon feed me". Apparently NASIOC has officially turned into every other ****ing forum on the internet.

Magnaflow. Cheaper than Cobb and better quality than SPT.

Dude I swear I thought the Cobb works. I'm sorry if you bought the wrong one. If not, I'm sure the wrx catback fits

I found a nice magnaflow in the classified section a few weeks ago. So far the magnaflow and cobb were the only ones that I found that would bolt up to the Cobb downpipe.

But it sounds like no special adapter is going to be needed to go from flange catback to the donut gasket DP. So pretty much about anything should work....or least that what it sounds like.

thanks!

This attitude will get you far here.

You asked for catbacks that mate up to a donut gasket.

He mentioned Cobb. (Which does, btw)

You make a sarcastic reply about how informative he is. Then you say you know the Cobb catback works. Why didn't you say that in the first place? We can't read minds.

Don't be a dickhead if you're trying to get spoon fed info that's readily available.

By searching the technical forums for the word "donut" and "gasket" I found a number of threads that provided information on this topic.

I'll let you do your own research there, but after a quick 5 second look through each thread I saw, it looks like the following will work:
Perrin
Search
Cobb
MadDad
Button
SPT
Grimmspeed
Invidia N1

Good luck!

Well forgive me for assuming that most people would have enough common sense to know that a Cobb catback would mate with a Cobb downpipe.

I didn't come here to argue with people....I genuinely needed information because IF the information is readily available I obviously missed it. So if this information is readily available in a FAQ or a sticky, please point me in the right direction. That would help much more than people like you or the other guy above bitching about me wanting to be spoon fed.

I simply came here looking for some advise as almost everybody here has some experience with exhaust. My only experience was with my last suby which was a cobb tbe. I failed to mention in my initial post that I was already aware the cobb and magnaflow catbacks would work. But without contacting every single manufacturer to ask what type of catback they make (gasket vs flange) how is one supposed to know? Which is what I thought these Subaru communities were for. But with this debate people are behaving more like this is a 4chan thread.

Thanks....apparently I was making my search criteria more complicated than it needed to be.
