I have 850cc injectors, walbro fuel pump, fmic, catless up and down pipe and 3in exhaust. Do I need a new form of boost control.

I tuned my Evo, DSM myself. A little on my Subaru but nothing serious as of yet... But I've always had a lot of input as far as my tune goes to get what I want!

This.

I had a td05 7cm 20G that would hit 20 psi at 3300-3400 rpm and I have logs. It choked on the top end on race gas due to the hotside so I could not utilize the compressor to it's maximum.

A 16GXT isn't all that far off an old 20G; I tuned one on a stock ej205 just the other day and it's spool and output was nearly identical to my old 20G/ej205 setup.

If you are not seeking absolute peak top end, I would stay td05 but if you want absolute top end td06 would be what you want.

I loved my 20G and my favorite ej205s end up being the 44 lb/min+ cars. Admittedly, I am probably not your typical owner though. I like powerband width, but if the power band is from 6k-10k instead of 3k-7k I am perfectly happy.

Go with an ETune from either STi Mikey(PhatBotti Tuning) or Dux10(Pullz on Tuning) and you won't be disappointed!

Both have done my tuning for me with input from me and I enjoy it a lot. I'm also running ECUFlash/RomRaider/Tactrix

Post a link or picture as to what turbo you went with...

Just FYI, just saying 219 g/sec of MAF flow doesn't mean all that much. You can scale the injectors, maf and load instances to make that read anything from 1-300 on a 16 bit car where maf hacks are pretty common.

Hey man if it doesn't go good then that his problem not yours... All you can do is help the guy make a good choice to meet his goals!

That turbo doesn't look to bad just hard to really tell until you get to see it in person... I have yet to hear anything bad about kamak/kinugawa though
