I'll most likely be in the hotel parking lot readying the car when you guys get there. I'm taking Friday off from work, so I hope to be up there by 4 or 5.

Well, the forecast for Summit is 12-20" of snow through tomorrow. There's no way that's going to be anywhere near gone by the weekend. I hope they reschedule the event because there's no way I'm driving on a track surrounded by snow. Just so unsafe. One little wheel off and you're gone. And you aren't stopping until you hit something.

Hmmm, almost makes me want to change my vehicle selection from CTS-V to Soobaroo. I imagine there'll be no shortage of melting run-off on the track, and those sealed asphalt sections in every corner get awfully slick when they're wet. Hmmm....

I just asked the question on their FB page to see if they have any plans.

So how bad is it over in the DC area? Honestly I hope they postpone it. From what I've seen on the weather Channel it's not good. :-(

By me in Woodbridge, we pretty much got nothing. A couple inches that is almost all gone already. I know Summit got less snow than was expected, but not sure how much. I'm going to call and/or email them tomorrow. AFAIK, the event is still on, and if there is not much snow I may still attend.

I just read the DC snow thread where a forum member who lives in Front Royal VA said he got 2 feet. I'm planning to have the event and I'll bring the snow tires too. Lol

I just got an email from Summit Point Kart - they're open this weekend, so I would guess that means things are fine. Weather Channel says SP got 4", not much to worry about.

Decided to play hooky from work today. O:-). Should be at the hotel a little early tonight. Thanks to KNS brakes for forgetting about my order for nearly a week, I may not have the spare set of pads I ordered.

Good weekend at Summit. Car ran great. First time with SCCA PDX, and they ran a good event. Will definitely be instructing with them again in the future.

Looking forward to VIR in a few weeks!

This is Autocross correct? If so, they're already in the Autocross thread.

NARRA (North American Road Race Association) Runs great events and gives people a chance to see some really high dollar machines. They offer PDE - TT - GT events. Everything from a RSX - Ferrari 458's run these events. I am not completely sure about instructors as i have never used one of theirs.

Also they have just added the Radical Cup for some events. It is always good fun watching those guys get it around track.

Feel free to PM with any questions !

I got excited for a second when I saw Monticello on their schedule in September, but it's only for USGTC and Radical Cup racing. I was totally like , but then I was like .

I guess Monticello is still too snooty to let plebeians run like us run there.

Yeah, We ran there last year but the place is actually pretty small to accommodate all the TT and PDE cars as well. Sorry ! I hope to see you at one of the other events though.
