Default Drag Dr31 17x9 +38 offset 5x100 question

Drag Dr31 17x9 +38 offset 5x100 question: What do I need to make sure they don't rub on my '04 WRX sedan? What tire size do you recommend? I'll be lowered on H&R sport springs (-1.4 front, -1.3 rear)

i had these same wheels on my 2011 sedan and i would still rub occasionally, they were on my buddies 04 WRX and they rubbed pretty bad taking chunks at the tire. tire was 255/40/17 im almost positive your going to have to roll your fenders.

To be fair, he is doing research over in the tire/wheel fitment thread. He's just looking for a quick answer from the Newbie section because we're not supposed to flame or make fun of him.

Quit acting like I haven't searched. I've been searching tons of threads since earlier this week. Just trying to triple check my research.

Oh wow. So maybe I'll have to go 235 or 245s and rolled fenders.

Research, research, research and then buy. If you run 255's on them you will need to roll the fenders, add camber bolts and get an alignment.
I've been running these wheels with 255's for over 6 months now on stock STI springs and just a roll in the rear (They arent rolled flat) and I rub from time to time, with no one else in the car and all the time over dips and during turns with a full car load.

in short roll fenders flat, get an alignment with negative camber.
I'm sure I could get these wheels and tires to fit with minimum rubbing, I just havent had the funds to do so.
My fronts have never rubbed

FYI if you posted this elsewhere, and then made a thread, that is CROSS POSTING and against forum rules.

Edit: Oh look, you did. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...5#post39127535
