Default anyone know how to remove the clock/MPG display in 08+ impreza?

i need to remove the housing with the clock/MPG display on my 11 WRX, it has an insanely annoying plastic on plastic sound while driving and i want to do some sort of anti squeak mod to it to stop it.

problem is i dont know how it comes out, before i go rip apart my dash i would appreciate any input from some one who has done it

thanks!

I dont recall, but check YouTube for a how to install by like, blue angel, or blue wrx or something. Its a how to for the SPT boost gauge install, he removes it in the video. I'm on my phone or else I'd just send you the link.

Has anyone successfully pulled this and taken a picture or had a better description of how to get this guy out? I have also got an incredible squeak and nowhere on the interwebs is there a solid bit of info. The guy in the video pulls it like its nothing and I've spent an hr prying on this thing and it won't budge.
