Hey guys,
Ever since the most recent storm I have been noticing when I am reversing more than a few feet my car will pop out of reverse and into neutral with a good popping sound. Foot all the way off the clutch or partially on. If I physically hold it in reverse it will stay longer but eventually will pop itself out. Does anyone know what this might be? Possibly shifter bushing? Thank you all in advance for your help.

Part of me wants to say it's the selector fork.

I'm not saying that's impossible, but its highly unlikely. You're probably not getting 100% throw out of your shifter due to worn bushings.
Any other work on the car lately? Perhaps a clutch replacement or a reason to pull the engine? |
