Default Rear Wiper Delete

So a buddy of mine makes wiper deletes for vw's and audi's.. was wondering if there is any interest in the suby world for wiper deletes? i personally think it looks way better, if there is enough interest then he will start making them and selling them accordingly. thanks

To show a picture, host it on an image hosting service, not your email attachments.

As far as wiper deletes, I personally use my car daily, and want everything to be functional. (As do MOST of the cars on here) Deleting something completely useful, and something that I do not find out of place, is completely and utterly stupid.

^This.. I like doing some non functional stuff here and there, but this just seems dangerous and unnecessary.

To each his own I guess.

Thanks for all the reply's appreciate the input ! Ill get the picture working when I get home.. But I just test fit one on my buddy's 13 hatch sti and it is very easy to install.. So if you like the look could use it for shows but if you want the wiper on there for daily use it's simple and easy enough to put in and take out. Thanks

During the winter... no, I use the rear wiper to much. However, I'd consider rocking one during the summer since I hardly ever use my rear wiper in the rain thanks to many coates of Rain-X.

I remove my wipers after rain season. Car looks way cleaner without them.

FYI, if you plan to market/sell these on NASIOC you will need to become a supporting vendor.

I wasn't vending anything yet, just showing people his website so they can see it's legit and not fake or anything.

Dangerous and unnecessary? If it were so dangerous, wouldn't EVERY car have a rear wiper? Honda offers an oem delete kit for a bunch of their hatchbacks, so it obviously is not that "dangerous."

I bought my wagon while living in VT, the rear wiper motor was dead when I got the car and I survived just fine. Now in AZ, I just deleted this useless eyesore last week and wish I had done it sooner. There is a company online that specializes in grommets and plugs for industrial use and they will send you a free sample of their product, so I just found the right sized flush-mount grommet and asked for a sample. It will be here next week. The link is below, just follow their instructions for ordering a sample.

Thanks to Animal Bikes for the sticker until my plug shows up.

^Everyone was under the impression that these were deletes for the front wipers.. Until he posted a picture of the rear.

Autoprue and a ton of other people on here have GD sedans, which do not usually have rear wipers.

^ I checked out the web site and noticed it was for the rear wipers, I'm quick to judge LOL need to work on that. I get what people want to do with these it makes **** look pretty clean if your going to shows, I think honestly it would be anoying as hell to take it off put it back on again, but I get it.

Why you would want to get rid of the rear wiper that is a functional part of the car is still kind of abstract to me. I would love to have one on my GD/leggy sedans so that I was not cleaning it every time I stop at a gas station and what not. To me its like well I don't like how my mirrors look so Im going to delet them. I can get by with out having them but am I any better for removing them..?

If you were going to rock this on a daily in the NE duing the winter I would tell you that you are ****ing suicidal lol.
