From the Motortrend Forecast for 2003...

it states...

"2003 Subaru SVX: Resurrecting the name from the quirky '80s grand tourer, Subaru will apply the moniker to a radically styled coupe based on the Impreza WRX platform."

Anybody have the specs or pics of this car???

They need to get their facts straight. The SVX wasn't around in the 80s as far as I know.

Referring to the '80's heritage, they must mean the XT's and XT6's. Odd.

I wonder when they will release some specs on it. I hope they don't wait until a month or so before it goes on sale. Hey maybe a H6 twin turbo? That would be cool but let's hope they steer away from the A/T only again.

What if it was a tiptronic-like tranny? I wouldn't mind those. Ah well, it is all good to speculate now, yet I think it more intellectual to have more facts first.

Hmmm...my WRX won't even be 1/2 way paid off by then...damn!

What I wouldn't give to have SVX styled windows on my WRX.
