I called around and went to charleston collision. they told me about cactus carwash. They will do the wetsanding and buffing for $35 a headlight. plus it includes a car wash. I might go there on a day off and let them fix the light.

My bugeye wagon was white with gold wheels. It looked really good. I used the Duplicolor Gold spray paint. If you take your time and do it right, it will look pretty nice. Expect to touch them up once every year or so...If you don't want to touch them up as much, powder coating them is fairly inexpensive, much more durable, and color options are pretty much infinite.

I priced Marchant on Rivers for powder coat at "around $90/corner" and was wondering if that's fair... not for my xxr's though. If I had 17x8 BBS, I would pc. I've also tested a can of Eastwood Vintage BBS gold on a stocker and it is nice looking. Can't speak to durability though.

Ok going to get the duplicolor gold metallic and paint one of the wheels to see if I like it. I post some pics after its all done. I have 2 cans of primer and red in the garage so if I need to paint it back no big deal.

I'm thinking it was in the upper 300's. Had it done at the same time as the clear bra so it was all one bill. I got the top of the line LLumar CTX tint though which provides up to 60% heat rejection. Really did make a difference in how hot my car gets. They do excellent work. Everytime I'm there picking up detailing products there working on bmw's, porshe's, etc. When I was there for the clear bra for my car they were completely wrapping a ferrari in clear bra. So a lot of high end cars are brought to them for their work.

Does anyone know if the bbs wheels are alluminum. Just wondering because I am going to be painting my rims and in debating on just getting paint stripper or just painting over the red paint.

I can't speak to the stripper on the rubber but been you paint them you can use playing cars in the bead inside of tapping the tire off. I also have a pic on dupicolor grey metalic ill send you via text

Paint stripper would probably soak in and soften up the rubber (ruining it) i would tape of properly then not apply directly to the rim lip or too close to the edge. Rinse it all off, scrub with soap ,then sand the rest around the lip by hand maybe

So I just want to ask this. I am getting some residual smoke out of the tailpipe it isn't consistent and doesn't happen everyday. I'm driving normal to work. Under 3k rpm and it only happens at a stop. But when I park the car and let it idle and rev it a little nothing come out the pipe. Just wondering if it could just be residual seafoam beating burnt off the valves and cylinders.
