My husband bought new falken tires that didn't make it to a year old and half of the warranty because of their alignment. They tried to get us to buy thier bullcrap lifetime alignment crap so they can keep trying to fix it. I made them buy me new tires (cause I don't mess around) and I took it to wyatt johnson to have chris primm their head mechanic do it and fixed the problem.
However I have purchased tires from firestone and love the tires I have on my sti but I will never have them do an alignment!
I had a similar situation with Firestone Store 303599 (Wilma Rudolph Blvd), but most of it has been resolved.

Two weeks ago, I had this this store mount and balance my new Michelin PSS onto my summer wheels and they overinflated all of them (50 psi, 45 psi, etc...). They ended up overcharging me, including tire disposal fee (the wheels were tire-less) and valve stem fee (already on the wheels). Lucky for me I checked them when I put them on the car - I'll hardly let anyone put tires/wheels on my car to avoid lug and stud damage with the impact gun.

Several days later, I had an alignment done. I have OEM and aftermarket camber bolts and asked for -1.6 camber and for the Tech to leave my aftermarkets set to full negative and to only adjust the OEM bolts in the upper clevis hole. After a while, the Tech came out and said he was finished but had to get adjust the OEM and aftermarket bolts to get close to what I wanted . This Tech said he owns a WRX, and said he was familiar with the adjustments.

Less than an hour later I was headed to the Tail of the Dragon, and the car started to pull left. I stopped at a Firestone in Nashville and explain the problem. Tech pulls the car on the rack and shows me this...

So, my alignment was crazy off. This dude works with me, and we get the aftermarkets back to full negative and slightly adjust the OEM's to get the camber I really wanted (-2.0 with me solo in the car) and a toe of 0 (or as close to 0 as possible). He had me sit in the car to double check camber, because 150# or more can throw off the alignment and I'm slightly over 150#

Negative camber isn't terrible on tires, unless it's straight line driving all the time or if you have worn tire rods. Toe is the real enemy.

I'll just put this here too...This happened while getting a new tire mounted on Thursday...

Same store.... New wheel on the way after a short conversation with corporate office.

How about this route?
1.5 hours.
Meet in Rotary Park @ 3:00 PM
Leave @ 3:30 PM
Gives people to get to the park in 30 minutes.
Gives us another 30 minutes of head-room to get to the destination.

Impreza shopping at the moment (I drive a 1990 AWD Legacy right now lol ).

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Clarksville area shop that isn't freaked out by a Subaru and could do a compression test?

I'm not freaked out by a subaru. A simple compression test is easy anyone should be able to do it. I don't have the tool but they aren't that expensive. Harbor Freight has one for $20.

Nope, it doesn't work that way.

If you had access to a new accessport, and then loaded the tune on your car, the tune would stay, and the accessport would be unusable by anyone else as it would be "married" to your car.

Intakes are a waste of money and offer no real gain through a stock turbo.

If you want an intake, then make sure to get one that is compatible with the maps included on the AccessPort (since you're planning on getting the AP).

In case some of you guys are missing out a decent group of car enthusiasts have started to meet and do fun stuff.

Here are some photos from yesterday. Not everyone made it out and not everyone stayed till the end but we went to a car show, did a small photo shoot, had some dinner, then went for a drive.

Looks like everyone had a good time. I was stuck clothes shopping ~ costing me more than it would to get a tune on my car.

Better news for me, I got my new wheel today and can drive my car again. No more grocery getter for right now.

No real set schedule, last weekend there was a BBQ Friday night that was decided would be thrown the Sunday prior and the sunday get together there was a car show which was kind of a bust so the group that was still around took off for some impromptu photos. There are a couple facebook groups for the area and several events have been posted. There is a carshow this weekend a bit further away, closer to the Nashville area that is also a fundraiser. I was considering entering if my parts come in and I can get the car cleaned up.
