Hey guys, is anyone familiar with a dude named Tommy Kintner or the company he runs called TK Auto? I bought an up-pipe from him, and he mentioned he did tuning for Subarus, but I've heard nothing about him really, so I'm mildly skeptical. Any word would be greatly appreciated!

I know him. He is local to the area. He has been in my home, ha ha. I've never used him but some people in the Clarksville area do. Look him up on FB, he is also an active member of the Clarksville Subarus group. All I really know is he has a car he built and it runs... so I guess he can at least make his own car function.

Hey, I'm in Clarksville and new to the subie scene. I just got an 08 wrx and can't wait to get some boost to her so she doesn't feel so gutless anymore. Do we really have to drive all the way to Atlanta to get a good shop?

are you saying you have a non turbo wrx? or you need a tune before driving it in boost?

Get some more boost to her is what I meant. I've got an ap on the way but I'm wanting to do quite a bit to it.

You 08 guys got the shaft man! But the good news is that once you do the big power mods your car is just like the rest of the 09+

It came with an invidia turbo back exhaust and Cobb sf intake so it isn't as bad as it could be I guess. I wrecked my 13 GT and didn't want as hefty a price tag after that. It would be nice to be back in the 12s though.

I'm not sure the intake style and it has whatever map was on it when I bought her from the dealership. I'm guessing it has a Cobb stage 2 tune though.

Yeah if you're running the OTS stage 2 map, then yeah you'd be pleasantly surprised how much more power and better the car feels with a TP etune.

The Cobb SF is a short ram btw

A group of us in Clarksville are probably going to roll down there together. I will definitely be going, short of something going wrong. Wouldn't surprise me.
