I found the two regions that are closest and even expanded from there. It looks like the closest location of events is near Lebanon TN but the schedules and event locations are not well documented on many of the scca and nasa sites. I hoped some locals could tell me a bit more directly.

Have you tried www.trscca.org?

or you can check out www.where2race.com, which tells you what time the event starts.

I have been on trscca.org I just noticed that I can flip over in that little window to new pages so that shows me the info I was looking for, thanks. I'm not a fan of fancy slide view thingies, ha ha.

where2race is new to me but I'm going to check it out.

Hey guys, my name's Gabriel, been in Nashville/Hermitage all 17 years of my life...

New to Subarus, but I have an '02 WRX Wagon which I've just begun work on. Looking forward to future get togethers and learning a thing or two!

Evidence that the wrx is the new civic. Ha ha, I'm just teasing.

Are there any Nashville get togethers?

How dare you compare me to a Honda owner! Hahaha

Not any Subaru specific, but a few good "anything goes" meets.

Hmm, I would hate to end up at a meet that ends up being like one of those videos on youtube... I'm guessing there is a Nashville knuckleheads forum somewhere.

Not really sure what you're trying to say, but I guess some jab at me being 17? Anyways, Cars and Coffee Nashville is about the best, great people, great cars...

Yes, there are some. Cars & Coffee is a great monthly meet. I posted a link to a photo album of last weekend's event (a few posts back), to give you an idea of the caliber of cars out there.
The other groups that organize meets around town are Music City Car Meets and The Rendezvous Point.
As far as Subaru-specific get togethers, I try to organize some group dinners every once in a while. Have met some great people that way.

Music City Car Meets is really hit or miss, sometimes it's awesome, others it's just lame. The drag meet was cool

Actually it's true. It's been foretold in times of a distant past.

Its not about you being 17, its about the high probability of people hanging out with groups their age and the scientifically documented and personally experienced fact that young people are more likely to do stupid things. Its also why your insurance rates go down over the age of 25.

Thanks for the info though. I googled and see that they have their own website and the location is roughly an hour twenty from me. I may try to get down there for the next one.

I completely understand where you're coming from, but I've yet to be at a meet where there is any sort of knucklehead behavior, at least from myself or any of the people of my age I hang out with, I guess there's always the next meet...just kidding aha!

But make sure you're on the right website, I believe there is a new forum for cars and coffee and an abandoned website. Facebook is where I check.

Ive never seen knucklehead behavior at a C&C meet. Just found the FB page. Was the site abandoned as recently as Feb?

We could always try to meet up on a Tuesday evening for food somewhere. Sunday night could work as well if anyone is interested.

Not sure, haven't checked the website in a while, just FB. Could be back in action, but I just remember it being last updated in like 2011 when I checked it last

That's what the FB page said as well. I honestly just want to meet people and see cars. Wife is gone for a year so its just me and two kids so I need some adult interaction.

Default Hello Everyone!

Hey guys! I figured I would make a profile here because I would love to meet up with other enthusiasts. My husband (yes I am a girl) and I use this website a lot. I live in Clarksville and I would love to meet up with people soon. Weather permitting of course. I see a few familiar names on here from the IWSTI forum. This website seems to get more post so I figured I would branch over here too. I will be leaving in the near future to go play Air Force for 3 months but that won't stop me from making new friends until I come back.

Welcome to those of you who popped into the thread. I lurk often and post little.

There are some stand-up dudes (and ladies) in the Clarksville area with STi's and other Subbies, give them a honk and a wave.

I thought it was weird that it began to snow yesterday considering it was actually a nice day yesterday! Well I have seen a few people around. I also wanted to drop on here that IMPORT ALLIANCE SUMMER MEET 2013 will be in Louisville on July 26-29th. Right after my birthday. I missed the fall meet in Nashville. I think it would be a blast to get a group of people together for that. I will be back from playing Air Force by then (hopefully).
