Thoughts?? It won't be in my hands until Sunday evening.
You a answered your own question man. Don't do it. I wouldn't run an OTS map on a road course. There are not tested or ran in that setting and could be running into cells you wouldn't run into normally. Wait and get yourself tuned.

Safety officials are a joke at IFO the dudes don't even know what to look for. They walk around kick a tire and say have fun. I am surprised that someone hasn't gotten hurt and one yet. People at Halloween drift weren't instructed on passing, flags or pointing rules and I was weary running to close to anyone and definitely with someone behind me.

Will resist the urge. Its just hard to get seat time that cheap ANYWHERE. I think I paid maybe $20 last year and got quite a few laps.
Have to pay $100s at Nola to get anywhere on the track

I will give you a ride on an extra run for $5. Haha they are charging $10 for 5 laps at a time. I don't plan on doing more than like 15-20.

Very tempting, would really like to see what time I could get with the slicks on either car. They won't fit inside the RX to get them there and putting the spacers on the STi is a pain and takes forever. Well I guess I will just bring the RX7 and run it without them since I have already tracked the STi elsewhere a few times, and to drive it again before the auto-x next Sunday.

This is the one time a year that my car really gets beat on. Other than that it never sees a track or an autox. The price isn't bad its the distance to get there and having to go to Alexandria just to get my trailer and other car.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. I did a lot of research and decided on those. That was two years ago. Not sure if anything better has come along.
