Default TurboTime in Cary, NC...

I don't know where to start. I've had work done there for a while and all I can say is thank you. Thank you to Jackie, Ryan, Roman, and Eric. I know nobody is perfect, but this place comes damn close. They've put my turbos on, replaced fuel level senders, and even built me a destroked 2.3L motor. My car is cursed and TurboTime will definitely agree. It spends more time there than with myself. I've had a couple misfortunes working with them, but they have taken care of me and that's what impresses me the most. They admit their faults and fix them. I know all shops "should" be like that, but they're not. I can't thank them enough for their quality work and customer service. Everyone at TurboTime are some of the most true, honest, and stand up people I have ever met. This is the shop to go to. You're not just another car to them. Anyone who has anything negative to say can go

Thank you TT for everything. For putting up with my cursed car. I still have all of my faith in you. We will get this sorted out!

Awesome, it makes me happy to know that there are still shops like this around. I read about them in Grassroots Motorsports Magazine on an Rs they built. I have to say it was a sick ride.
Secondly, I'm also happy to know that I'm not the only one with a cursed car. LOL.

That's MY shop ... I miss being in NC for that very reason... Only last month I BARELY managed to limp my 98 Legacy GT wagon up to them from Alabama... Soon I'll be flying up there to retrieve my newly re-sealed wagon CAN'T WAIT!!

Customer service and relationships mean a lot to me. I like my relationship with my shop to be really close. I like being treated like I mean something to them. And I've never met anyone who treats me like they do!

Turbotime is my shop and I proud to represent them. I've only owned a scooby for less than a year so I don't know a ton but they are so nice and so easy to coordinate with. They do really good work on just about everything Subaru. Keep it up TT!

I'm going to have to hug me some Ryan

Ryan/TT have done all the work on my STi. That's ~8 years worth of work since I bought it in '03. I wouldn't take it anywhere else.

Bringing this back from the dead

I will be living in Cary as of late this month and am looking for the inside scoop on the Subaru enthusiast community in the area.

I see you guys like this shop, any others?
Any weekly meets?

I was in Cary twice already and it seems that I may very well be the only 2015 STI in town. I didn't even see any previous year STI's or WRX's. I also did not hear any loud exhaust's on cars.... am I in trouble? My pipes are loud. How are cops toward our cars in this area of NC?

Appreciate any info fellas.

Thanks for the info fellas

I know this isn't Turbo Time related but for sake of opening a new thread I hope you can assist.

I need a GOOD local detailer in Cary (or close by) for my 2015.
I need a GOOD wheel re-finisher
I need a GOOD Powder coating shop for my wheels.

@Twiztid Ninja - I do not use Facebook. I do use Instagram under the name @STI_KEL I think I am already following your group on Insta.

Car is filthy and in need of some wheel TLC - I refuse to go to a meet until she looks more presentable

If you see a DGM 15 STI rolling around in Cary area it's me

You should not have exhaust issues in the greater Raleigh area but Cary in the evening goes dark and pretty quiet early.

There is a cars and coffee meet 3rd Saturday of each month in raleigh.

There is a world class road racing course about 90 minutes away.

There are lots of nice cars around but not tons of Subaru's.

Few points added on to kens.

Cary is so so on cars and how loud they are. I've gotten compliments and I've been verbally abused. It just depends on their mood.

Cars and coffee is no more until January (or sometime around then). The movie theater is being renovated.

This world class course is our beloved Virginia international Raceway. <3

Man I see a boat load of Subarus everyday but not very many modified ones.

.... another reason "besides it's good for performance" why I put EWG on my car is to be a dick to all ppl that have nothing else to do in their miserable life than constantly whine and complain about anything and everything.... so no I don't think you will be in trouble... oh yeah and i drive Forester aka "grown up car" that everybody completely ignores and underestimates :-)

I failed to realize years ago I had a bunch of parts I could've picked up from Turbo Time back in '09. Things I didn't realize I could use. I had brought in my wrecked OBP 05 STi to have dismantled. They did store the parts ripped off the car for me (in which I was billed for storage) and I am grateful for that. However, I didn't like the fact they didn't give me back all the parts I could've used like my dash, steering wheel, door cards, power steering pump, alternator, master brake cylinder, ac compressor, and rear subframe. I believe they used the rear subframe, oil filter sandwich adapter for my oil cooler (they did give me another oil filter sandwich adapter but the wrong one), dash, and other pieces they didn't pay me for on a 2.5RS project they had. They made lounge seats from the front 2 seats from my STi without asking - they were scrap but still you have to ask the person they belong to before you start doing things to it since it is not yours. I have a feeling those would've made it into that same 2.5RS if they were good. The guys do good work no doubt, but the customer service is lacking and there is a certain degree of sketchiness. At the time I just wanted to be done with them so I didn't make a fuss. I'm just posting this as a warning.

Edit: As a reference - from moving around a lot I have had work done on my cars by MotionLab in Charlotte NC, TopSpeed in Alpharetta GA, AR Fabrication in Winchester VA, Crawford Performance in Oceanside CA, Harman Motive (now AQ motorsports) in Torrance CA, Infamous Performance in Escondido CA, and currently Yimi Sport Tuning in Santa Clarita CA (whom I currently recommend). I have not had a similar experience with the aforementioned shops compared to TurboTime.

I have a Black 04 WRX Wagon. I bought it last year and have yet to do any modifications to it. I was wondering where I should start. Also, looking for meets in the Fayetteville, NC area.

+1 for any Fayetteville meet ups or groups closer down this way. Thanks for the heads up on TT, budgeting for stage 2 currently and refuse to get ripped off by the shops around Bragg.
