You had to be in that room to truly understand how bad the fumes were from the gas that car runs. Some C95 ethanol race gas or something, it was horrible.

197mph.bummer .did it stay together? I was so hoping 200+ . at least we now know subies arent geared for that. a little taller gear is a winner for sure. there are certain things horse power just can't overcome. 200mph is clearly 1 of them.

change the gears and bust the 200 mark.

If this was a texas mile car, and a replacement gearbox was installed, why weren't different gear ratios used to achieve a higher top speed???

We actually have an upgraded gear box in the car already, it's a Modena sequential Dogbox and 6th gear can go over 210mph.
We were only running wastegate pressure at the Texas Mile because our boost controller failed. So 197mph isn't bad for only 26psi (est 600whp) IMO
