Lightbulb Crawford Gymkhana 1 exhaust question. (04-07 STi)

Hi all, was wondering if anyone had any information on compatible midpipes for Crawfords Gymkhana axle back. I currently have (Old Version) TurboXS RFL-TI Turboback exhaust. I would want to just buy the Crawford axleback but im not sure if it is compatible. Both are 3" flat flange 2 bolt and location on midpipe seems similiar from pics I have seen. I would want to be sure before ordering it.

On their site it says "Requires Crawford Performance Signature Series Mid Pipe or other compatible 3 Mid Pipe"

Ive searched and I only found someone using it with Perrin midpipe. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The older version TXS pipes were their own proprietary length, or at least mine were, and would only mate up to TXS sized things. To be on the safe side I'd assume it doesn't fit.

Call Crawford and let us know! Otherwise an exhaust shop can make it fit on the cheap if you don't mind some cutting and welding of the pipe.

I sent them an email and this is what they told me.

"Because we have not come across this particular fitment scenario, I cannot tell you for sure yes or no. Most likely it will fit because each piece has a 3 diameter, and it is pretty rare that an exhaust manufacturer would design a system that is not stock spec length. If you receive the part and it does not fit, you could always send it back or sell it online."

Im still debating on getting the axleback. If I get it ill post about the fitment. I could always take it to an exhaust shop like you said.

I'm wondering the same. I just purchased the gymkhana exhaust used on here and the dude had to move both hanger bars 1 3/4" to get it to fit. Hope that helps.

Did you happen to get the exhaust posted on there?

Been running the axle back for about 1 week. I think it sounds so much better than the TurboXS RFL-TI axle back. Had to take it to an exahaust shop to get it cut, aligned and welded so it can mate up with the TurboXS midpipe. Im using a hi flow cat and the sound is just right for me not too loud or raspy. I also ran it catless and it was really loud way too loud for me.
