Hi. new here, so I will try to be comprehensive about my install. Today I installed a double DIN head unit, using a jump harness between the aftermarket touchscreen and factory harness. My install is clean andI believemy wiring is correct. My front 3 ways will not work, but my front door tweeters work fine. I talked to a friend that said the factory system is likely 6 channel and my aftermarket is 4 channel, and this likely the reason. anyone replace the factory 6 disc head unit and have a suggestion on how to correct this without jumping the tweeters to my lower door speakers (this will cause a ohm drop and overload the head unit) without removing the high wires and wiring the lower door speakers?
I Have replaced all of my door speakers with alpine units quite a bit ago, clean install of earthquake amp and sealed box, and everything worked until I installed the aftermarket unit. I plugged in the stock unit, and everything again worked just fine.. NO previous owner, so no wiring issues. (I picked it up at the factory in indiana)

So you have aftermarket alpine 3 ways (high/mid/low) in your front doors?

Yes, the 3 ways are in the bottom of the door, and pezio tweeters in the top by the door handles. I have looked at a lot of the forum tabs including the faxtory deck with the wiring harness pics, and it is really strange that the wiring seems to split off past the factory harness, but the door speakers only work when my factory head unit is installed. checked 3 times, and each time I plugged my factory unit in, all 4 speakers in the door worked fine. Strange..
