I'm using a JDM Spec C intercooler tank but you could also use a standard intercooler spray tank.

What about a stainless steel tank?

Stainless or plastic will be fine. MDO4WRX's suggestion is good. The HFS3 aquamist system is designed for trunk mounted installation.

If you are building one yourself, put some baffle or design a tall and slim tank. Jeff at Howerton do sell a 5 quart tall and thin plastic tank.

I found this, could be useful... not unique to Aquamist.
