Yeah, with that type of offset, that looks right. The more outwards offset you can go a little wider safely. But no man, that'll be good. There's a girl with a 12+ wagon on BC's with those in gunmetal.

not sure if i posted a pic of when i swapped wheels between my outback and impreza.
now i want to keep the RPF1s are a spare wheel set and mount some snow tires and use them for rallycross on the impreza. the hard part will be convincing the wife to let me use the impreza for rallycross. the outback feels like a school bus.

Nice! Pics stat.

I think I decided on the 18x8 Rota Tarmac 3's with 235/40's. Kinda like a bigger STI BBS..

What size are those RPF's? They look teeny. haha

I think those Rota's will look good on your wagon. I wish I could have afforded the Enkei RS05RR's, I love the way those look

For sure man! If we had 5x114 I would have just used my 18" 2-piece Volks. haha Damn 5x100! I was originally thinking of doing the Gravels. But I really like the Tarmac 3's..

the rpf1s are 17x8. i know they look small i chose to stick with 17 in case i wanted geolander tires. now i wanna get 15" rally wheels and use those rpf1s as race wheels.

That'd definitely be a great choice. RPF's are mad light. The Team Dynamics Pro Rally (I think is the model) are awesome for rally. I think there's a Crosstrek running them..

i would actually use the team dynamics for street wheels. i want to put 225/75/15 grabber at2s on the outback but yeah they would be great for rally wheels and who knows. im starting to think road racing is out of the picture and so i guess ill focus on rally cross for now. also, the orange xv that has them is subie_noob_brian, he lives about 30 minutes from me.

thanks, but i dont really like it. i just wanted to see if those tires would clear. we got the sport version to get the gunmetal wheels. she doesn't really like my wheels. the gunmetal wheels look really good on the outback too.

on the other hand, if the headlight housings were blacked out the impreza would look really good with those wheels.

Was there any rubbing with these on at all? Also you are running stock suspension correct? Reason I ask is because I should be getting my 2014 impreza any day now, and I plan to put the wheels from my forester on it and they are 235/45/18 and I see most run 235/40/18 on imprezas. I am hoping they will eliminate a little wheel gap until I get around to doing suspension work, but also hoping I don't have any rubbing issues.

What size wheels and the offset?

I have 18x8 45 offset wheels with 235/45R18 tires on my 2014 Impreza and they rub on the top rear fender when I hit big bumps. It rubs on just about any small bump if I have more people other then just me in the car. The front did rub on the front inner finder while taking sharp turns on to side streets if I hit a bump. The front stopped rubbing after a week or so. I think the plastic wheel well liner just got worn down so it stopped rubbing.

I put 1" strut lift spacers on today and there is no more rubbing at all and the wheels/tires stayed real centered in the wheel wells. I was worried they would get pulled closer together but they didn't at all. The lower profile tires and big wheels don't look the best IMO with the lift. I will be selling them and getting some A/T tires on smaller 16" wheels shortly.

If you just added a 3/8" saggy butt lift spacer to the rear that would probably fix the rubbing and you could maybe roll the rear fenders.

How much space was on either side of the front and rear tires 1/4"- 1/2" more? I'm thinking of going with a 27" OD A/T tire now that I put the 1" lift on but I'm not sure if the space is there front to back in the wheel wells? I am thinking I may have to stick with 215/60R16 Geolandar 26.1" OD but I would really like to go with the 215/65R16 Grabber 27" OD.

the 235/55/17 tires definitely would not fit with stock suspension! i wouldn't even try it with strut spacers, only way it would work is if you had xv or forester suspension. well, maybe wheel spacers would work but i dont like wheel spacers. i was scared to even turn the wheels. the car was driven a total of maybe 20 ft. i was contemplating putting these tires on my wife's impreza. she wants a higher ride height and also i want to put 15" rally wheels on my outback. there was maybe a mm clearance from the edge of the tires to the strut.

also my wife would not approve of any further modification i made to her car. the reason we spent the extra money for the sport model was to get gunmetal wheels.

26.3" diameter definitely rubs? That is disappointing. I want to put 215/55r17 Pirelli's on there. 26.5" diameter and the same price as the stock 205/50r17 with 25.3" diameter. Is anyone else with larger tires experiencing rubbing?

With all this wheel gap we have, especially in the front, I'm really surprised y'all are rubbing.

If anyone else is looking for a super easy potential problem solver, and like to live dangerously, remove the spare tire and associated crap. I did, and it seemed to balance the car out a little more to remove some of the butt-sag. I have never had a spare in my cars, and I've never really needed one. If you prefer having a spare, you can always try it out for a day or two and see if there's any height raise in the rear to give you an idea if rear spacers will help..
