my snow tires are 25.7" (205/60-16) and no rubbing. they get awfully close to my RA's though at full turn, less than 1/4"

My snows are 215/45 but way more straight up from the wheel than my Hankook V4 225/45's were. The V4's were more angled. The snows are way fatter.

So with those xxr's I'm going to have extended lug nuts. I'm going to get them powder coated but I haven't decided what color. I was thinking maybe ice silver metallic to match the car, maybe lime green, something else? Any ideas guys?

Personally, I'd leave them. Dark wheels look great on Ice Silver..

Oh. haha Neo chrome might look neat. I eventually want to get the teal Kics ones. Teal is my color. Maybe purple or pink? Hell, gold-ish even.

I have the neon green subaru lettering on my brake calipers. I might try to tie the lug nuts in...

I have a 2014 Sport Premium, have a friend with a 2010 WRX and am thinking of swapping wheels for the winter to use his Blizzaks since he doesn't have much use for them right now. I know the WRX wheels would work on my car, but would my wheels work on his, clear his brakes?

I'm 99% positive I have seen a picture of a WRX with our wheels on it.

I ended up buying the Continental PureContact 215/50R-17. 25.5" diameter should fit without issue. The Pirelli's had better reviews on TireRack, but the Continentals had better reviews on Consumer Reports and a number of other websites. Plus the lower cost and included road hazard sealed it for me.

Has anyone tried fitting 2012+ stock STI rims on the 2012+ Impreza 2.0i using adapters?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. They're the same specs as the 5x114 05-style BBS's. I'd be running 5x114 BBS's right now, but I'm not a fan of adapters..

I'm running 2011 WRX wheels on my 2012 Impreza 2.0i and I'm just concerned that the 2012+ STI BBS wheels might rub.

God I love those STI wheels. lol

They'll probably look pretty sick on our cars.

Are the 12 style BBS's 18x8 or 18x8.5?

I have 18x8 45 offset wheels with 235/45R18 tires on my 2014 Impreza and they rub on the top rear fender when I hit big bumps. It rubs on just about any small bump if I have more people other then just me in the car. The front did rub on the front inner finder while taking sharp turns on to side streets if I hit a bump. The front stopped rubbing after a week or so. I think the plastic wheel well liner just got worn down so it stopped rubbing.

I put 1" strut lift spacers on today and there is no more rubbing at all and the wheels/tires stayed real centered in the wheel wells. I was worried they would get pulled closer together but they didn't at all. The lower profile tires and big wheels don't look the best IMO with the lift. I will be selling them and getting some A/T tires on smaller 16" wheels shortly.

If you just added a 3/8" saggy butt lift spacer to the rear that would probably fix the rubbing and you could maybe roll the rear fenders.
I've been running 235/45/18 with +45mm offset for 10K plus miles and have had no issues with rubbing.

Yeah, the 8.5 with that offset may be a tad wide.
