Default alpine working, installed sub stopped working.

I just bought a bugeye wagon yippie, so it had an Alpine headunit and had all the power wires and RCAs connected but not the remote wire. I put my amp and subwoofer box in the back and connected the remote wire to the headunit to the amp. it worked perfectly. so I disconnected it and went ahead and started to tuck the wires and finally got it to the trunk. connected the wire again and now it doesn't work just the amp and door speakers work I deiced to check the back of the headunit and tape it up since I just twisted it. now the headunit doesn't work and noticed that my key fob doesn't work either. checked the fuses and saw that the one named DOOR LOCK was blown so I changed it. still my keyless doestn work nor radio so just decided to disconnect the radio. im going to reprogram the key fob maybe that works but someone please help for my headunit.

And also checked the fuse for interior lights was blown. And I went through 6 fuses and keep blowing anybody have a solution?

Laying down and thinking about it I think I might know the problem, my power wire from the battery to my amp has no fuse like it did on my other set up on my old car so I'm thinking I will strip out the old power batter wire and strip out the one from my old car and put it into my wagon since its only about 5 months old maybe this will be the fix ill keep you guys updated

I think you should have someone take a second look at your work. You are blowing fuses more than anyone should ever blow while installing your stereo, and not putting a fuse in your power wire makes me think you should take a step back and think if you really should be messing with it. No offense to you, but blowing that many fuses means something is wired wrong, and not putting a fuse in is asking to burn your newly purchased Subaru to the ground.

Hey bro if you haven't got it sorted out yet, check behind your Alpine deck to see if the fuse is blown (if it has one).

yeah im just going to start my wiring my way looks like the owner before me did a horrible job with the headunit an okay job with tucking the neg wire and battery wire along with the RCAs i put the remote wire in but going to end up just changing the wires to my choice and starting fresh. and maybe get a new headunit

fixed it, just took the battery cable off and got new fuses everything is back to normal. i think the wire was either a walmart brand or just old. does anyone know of a good diagram or know where i can breach the fire wall cause also where the previous owner put the battery wire was a spot that could be exposed to alot of water.
