Default Steering wheel questions

Will the momo steering wheel from the 02-04 wrx's fit in the 08+ wrx? I've been trying to find out all morning but I've been coming up empty. Any input would help. Thanks.

Fit mechanically, or work electrically? I think former will work (not 100%), but not the latter. IIRC the buttons are different hence the connectors are too. You might be able to get things to work depending on how good you are with schematics and wiring. Definitely not plug and play.

Fit mechanically. I'm not really worried about the wiring part.

You maybe the first one to find out if there are any mechanical fit issues then. I doubt if they changed the mating splines though.

It's just I haven't seen anyone do it before, but all years WRX and STi use the same MOMO hubs: http://www.momousa.com/store/index.p...hubs/hubs.html

I didn't think they would change the splines on them. So all I need is the hub that's in the link above and the wheel and I'm set?

Ill post pics when I do the swap.

No, the MOMO hub in the link is for their aftermarket wheels. It seems to confirm that the splines didn't change.

You just need the early Subaru wheel. It will have the hub integral. No adapter needed.

Awesome, thanks for the help! Looks like ill be giving up my cruise control but oh well. IMO the older momo wheels are the best feeling/looking.

Wow that's pretty rough haha.

I've never had a momo wheel, but I've driven my friends wrxs and I'd like to try one out for myself.

If I don't like it I can always switch it back out for my original wheel. I don't really use my cruise very much either so it's not a big loss for me.
