Great advice.

OP. If that's your entire criteria just cut a turn or two off your stockers. Done.

Tein S techs are some of the lowest, but if you buy them people will flame you for the remainder of your time here.

From what I've seen though, if all you want is a lower car, and you aren't planning on doing track days, they really aren't that bad. With KYB GR2 struts the ride was pretty firm, and slightly vague, but on the hwy it didn't feel much different than stock.

What you asked wasn't a "simple question". Do you want best looking drop? Best handling/performance? We can't read your mind.

Tein s tech is one of the lowest drop for springs (2.2 & 1.7"), however they have mixed reviews for the WRX platform. Epic Engineering makes a quality spring with a modest drop and improved handling as well.

Not overkill. The simple of it is going low means you will no longer have bump travel. Suspension becomes significantly less functional and ride quality goes way down.

What is your budget? If its just a few hundred dollars I would go with the epic springs they are a little over an inch lower and are soft enough to work with factory struts. If you can spend more and want something to handle go with something like RCE yellows and koni's or another performance strut. The yellows will lower about .8" but are too stiff for factory struts and is a good compromise between looks and performance.

I explained what i was talking about i said best drop. At the same time i do not want to compromise ride quality. Im staying with the epics thanks for all the info and holding back anger due to a stupid but honest question

Well if you are into the hellaflush thing just get the cheapest thing you can get bc it won't ride well anyway. Might as well save some money...

If you don't want to compromise ride quality, don't lower the car.

Let's put it this way: I have RCE Yellows (pretty low and one of the stiffest for our strut setups) with FEAL struts and I want to go HIGHER!
