Changing the oil on my legacy and going to a high mileage oil. Wondering whether I should run. Cleaner through before on my oil, or in my intake? Anyone know what's good for high mile legacy. Just wondering for tips and pointers.

I'm in college and my car can sit for up to a month with being drivin and I hear synthetic is better for that and also with high mileage it will help convert it.
