Angry My car got hit and run

So like the title says, my car got hit and run tonight. someone with a truck probably drunk managed to cross over the oncoming lane and smash into my car spinning it towards the curb. I was parked perpendicular to the road. After the hit my car was parallel to the road.

Man, that sucks. I've had the same thing happen to me, multiple times. Someone took out my drivers side rear door and quarter panel in a parking lot. Side-swiped while I was in college and had to report that, too. I've also been bumped by someone which left a gouge in the bumper. The thing is, you won't ever find the guy Just report it, get it fixed, and be pissed off for the entire next year or so.

You could always turn it into another project car!

More importantly, the American Legion hosts a BREAKFAST sponsored by Coors Light?? Too bad its ****ty beer.

I feel your pain, 2 hit and run in the last 6 months, first one took off the driver side, both driver and passenger door, also front end of car, person was obviously drunk. Second hit and run took out the front passenger fender and bumper. The stupid is strong these days.

I'll be surprised if they don't find something else wrong with it. You got hit really hard and something other than the paint had to feel that hit. Definitely go get it checked out...Might be totaled.

i had a similar situation happen to me on fathers day last year. Luckily there was a camera, unluckily the camera saw nothing. My police report literally states female in a blue toyota suv hit black subaru at 1:20 am. Didnt really help much

Side note: judging from the prints in the snow, your front left tire (atleast) is on the wrong side

The exact same thing happened to me.

Don't worry, I put in a claim and they paid out 4k in damages for a new quarter panel, bumper, tail light, etc but it NEVER negatively affected my insurance (still have all safe driving discounts) and I was surprised to recently find out that my carfax is CLEAN.

Hopefully you'll have a similar outcome like mine.
