You're right around the corner. I live off Fouraker.

I spoke to my dealer yesterday and there's a chance my STI will arrive in May. Regardless, I'll be reaching out to Sti Mickey shorty thereafter. I have heard nothing but praise for that guy and his work.

Question. Does anyone locally run a Cobb or NP TBE? I'm tired of listening to YouTube clips and need to hear some exhausts in person before I choose. Thanks!

What sound you looking for? Check out Tsudo exhausts, they have quad tip and n1 style and sound kinda like Nvidia just cheaper

Looking for an aggressive exhaust note without any raspy-ness or drone at highway speeds. Just want to complement the boxer sound. Most likely a catted DP with resonated mid-pipe setup.

One of the guys in the group had a cobb and didnt like it. My mom has a Tsudo tbe on her 08 wrx and everybody loves it. Oh, your first mod when you do go to get a tune should be a fuel pump. ALL the new STis have had to get theirs replaced that are in the group. We dont know why but teres been an 08 and 2 11s that ran out of pump right away on the stock turbo

Sounds like grounds for a recall on the fuel pump. Should be covered by the warranty if it fails.

I have heard mixed reviews on the Cobb TBE. NP TBE has been one of the more favorably reviewed exhausts. I started a Cobb vs. Nameless thread in the Newbie Section.

Its not that the pump fails, it is just maxed out already from the factory. Plus if you wanna go bigger later youve already got it lol

Good advice. Guess I'll be adding a fuel pump to the accessories list!

Fuel pump and injectors ran out cause they're running E85 that's why. About the down pipe, look at Tomei or HKS.

I have Invidia Catted DP right now. Will be swapping it out for the Tomei or HKS this summer.

Then IDK LOL. I'm running 23ish PSI on 93 with stock turbo right now and my pump is fine. Only things that are about to maxed out are the stock injectors.

I really need to attend a local meet in order to hear the different exhausts. Not to mention to meet the locals.

Money is an option when it comes to parts, but I'm lucky in that I have a good job and a very financially responsible wife!

I don't want to hijack the NF thread, so I wanted to ask members in or around JAX if anyone is running a Nameless or Cobb TBE? I've worn out YouTube listening to clips and figured it was time to listen to the real thing. Not to mention this would give me a good opportunity to meet some owners. Thank you.

Thanks man I appreciate that. I think I have decided to go with Cobb. My reasoning is the sound and I like the idea of running it with the Cobb DP. My thoughts are that this will be the safest setup to run with the OTS maps from Cobb.

That being said, I would still like to hear your no name turbo. It would give me the opportunity to meet a fellow Subie owner and hopefully learn more about these wonderful vehicles. This will be my first Subie and my first turbo.
