dude 20k and 800 bucks is a big difference. theres a lot of modern cars that are a lot more reliable and perform really well these days.

looks legit if you know about subarus and can work on them. 6mt swap and an 2.5 engine is pretty good.
I just can't get over the cosmetics of the car. Black hood, 04/05 hood scoop? on a bug eye!>!, Black bbs's and wrb. But if that tickles your pickle then go for it! the 6mt is worth it. |

Yeah cause supras don't handle power well compared to modern vehicles? Really? That's why they are so desired and still sell for 20k plus. This isn't gunna go anywhere, but you sound silly.

Yeah, but the majority of today's car's are harder to work on. Not sure who's idea it was to make ECU's bitchy, probably the EPA. Older cars don't really have the bitchy ecu problem. Putting a intake and not tuning it won't flip it out, like it does on newer cars. Anyway, I'd love to have a Supra. Why? Tuneability, bulletproof motor, bulletproof tranny, and the rareness factor. And the fact that a 15y/o car can be 20k+, is what the market system dictates. That's the free market for you. Love it, embrace it, and no that's not sarcasm. I love the free market system.

LOL why all the hate? my first car was a POS 1990 325i, slow as ****. my last car was a 01 540i/6. tired of fixing it every few months, ditched BMW altogether (owned 6 of them from 1999-2011) and went to a japanese brand.
the only thing i've had to fix in the past 50k miles (knock on wood) was a faulty gas door spring and it was under warranty at the time. something tells me that i should remove my vehicle description from my profile. do you own a supra? why so serious? |

Who needs cars? I'm not a fan of cages But you talked down this car like you understand subaru's or cars in general. Which from that statement doesn't sound like you do. |

LOL oh no, a jab at my reading comprehension skills. stop being butthurt because some people dont worship the same cars you do. this is worse than arguing with a progressive liberal. i couldn't care less about what you want, and even said good luck with your supra (assuming you can even afford said supra), more than once.
i did learn something in this thread though. subaru resale value is awesome, i'm glad i bought one. with that said, good luck to the seller, and whoever buys the car, and hopefully people like this dude stops derailing this thread. and good luck to those aspiring future supra owners as well. |

Can a 20 year old supra sell for a lot? Yes because they never had high production numbers in America. Low numbers=more chance of collecting. And any car from 20,30,40,50 years ago can be built to go fast and handle power. All about money. You should stop, you look silly. |

By posting about a supra one time I'm not nut swinging. The supra was an example car used in the discussion they were having, he said money is better spent on a modern vehicle and that an older one (specifically a supra) isnt worth the coin because of age alone.... so yeah... it was kind of a point he was making.
Of course any car can be made fast with the right amount of money I don't think anyone would disagree with you there, but it wasn't what we were talking about. Some older cars are worth it for the platform and the rarity brings up the cost even further just like you mentioned. This can be said for less famous examples like the Nissan 240 and s2000... Both were balls cheap at one point and now they sell for more than they were years ago because they are getting rare, but the fanboys love em for the Tokyo drifts. I actually wish I woulda swooped an s2000 before people got wise and started asking a bunch for them We are in agreement here, and to the guy I was originally posting to I backed away from because I realized he was being chill and not trolling. So grab a ball and swing with me, there's two mayne. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE |

Alright dude, we get it. You've clearly demonstrated in this thread that you have a massive hard-on for the car that's being sold, or the owner of it, or a combination of both. You've been in here non-stop trying to defend this poor $12k bugeye. It's not even your car, so why the hell are you so damn worried about it? |
