You'll love the 6 speed and the fact that it doesn't look like an SUV. |

Thanks for the replies. should have made my post more specific.
Looking for a good year that will limit problems that might be associated with a particular year. For example i was looking into 2005 or 2006 and found alot of reviews about turbos going out and needing to be replaced. So with that in mind - looking for years to target that are overall good/reliable vs. some other years that might be better off avoiding More clear? haha |

Search the turbo oil line banjo bolt screen. That gets clogged and when it does, the bearings in the turbo get less oil. That's what kills the turbos. I've heard contradictory information that the screens went away before 08. I had an 08 and went 91k miles with zero issues. I sold it to a local and he's just hit 105 miles with zero issues. 08 and 09 have SI Drive. Put it in I mode, throw in 87 and get 27mpg all day long.
LGT.com has a great write up with pictures on how to get to the banjo bolt......remove the screen and put back together. |

I have an 05. The stock turbo on mine went 96k before I replaced it with a vf52. Turbo still functioned fine when I took it off.
