Default Why am i boost creeping ?

I have an amr cxr500 turbo 10.5 cm hot side. MY intake is stock 2.5 inch with free flowing exhaust (3 inch). When i bought my turbo i purchased the 14.5 psi actuator. Sense i did not have a big enough intake to support my turbo It was only tuned to 16 psi. I understand boost creep for the most part but i dont understand why i am boost creeping bc I bought a big enough interanl wastegate to support it !

Elaborate please .

Need datalogs with WDC.

Maybe you are just over boosting due to a tuning issue? That is an easy fix. From what you listed for your mods, boost creep does not seem as likely as a tuning issue causing an over boost situation.

Data logs will tell the story.

the issue is your turbo is making more boost than what you desire and
the internal wastegate is to small to bleed of the excessive pressure.

Without datalogs showing WDC going down to zero while the ECU is trying to control boost, it is just as possible (more possible, really) that his tune needs to be fixed as opposed to having a boost creep problem. Until the OP can show us datalogs proving otherwise, it should be assumed that he has a tuning issue not boost creep.

If lowering WDC lowers boost, then it is not boost creep, it is a tuning issue.
