Maybe we can put together a group of slow cars that can follow up the rear. I would love to bring my brat but at 74 fwhp I have no power

Anyone else with a slow subie wanna roll the last weekend of April?

Definitely, don't want to pay officer Walters another visit.... I'll make sure to bring extra bottles in the car next time for sudden bathroom urges.

I call it automotive archeology and its a period correct resto-mod of a jdm rs liberty. Crazy to think that subaru was getting 260 hp from a ej20 back in '89. I cant wait to get a copper historic license plate in 5 yrs.

So, I posted my pics from this run on the other forum. I know a couple guys on there and these are the guys I invited to go on the run with us. I thought it would be fun to run with other types of cars. Well, as we already know, not only did NO ONE show from their forum, but all they did was talk **** about how slow subies are. Then they turned on me. Haha.

It figures though. They mostly drive vettes, camaros, and srt4's. One guy was even boasting about his wife's HHR.

I'm convinced... American-made = Big "forum" balls, Little "actual" balls.

That's what happens when you can only drive straight. I wouldn't have given my 03 z06 a win in my eyes over my 08 Sti. Suspension mods ftw.

Should definitely bring this out sometime. There someone on legacycentral.org that swapped a flat six in one. Ultimate sleeper.
On these runs, the slower cars/drivers should lead ahead to scout for enforcement and bicycles, especially right before the fun stages. It'd be fun to mix it up with the redneck muscle in the twisties.

agreed... also experienced this with some of my friends from high school. they all have mustangs and GTO's and ****, and they always talk **** to me on how my car has to have a turbo to go fast and theirs are all N/a and don't need boost to go fast.

Ok, very good. You are in charge of Speedtrap Bait. Get them to show up. For the good of the Subie community. We can't afford to lose another to the cops again, no matter how many cups of coffee he/she slams before the run (yes, I am guilty of this too - if it wasn't scbydooo, it would have been me)

That's a good idea. Just tell them to get in front and show us how a "real car" goes up the hill lol

I had to go from the time we hit grand until we stopped in yarnell. This time I'm either bringing less fluids or drinking slower.
